Today our sweet Beau Elias is 2 months old. Brandon and I took him to the doctor this morning for his 2 month well check. Beau's doctor was very pleased with how he looked and said he could tell he was getting bigger. For records sake, our little guy now weighs 7 lbs 14 ozs, is 22 inches long, and has a head circumference of 15 inches. We were surprised at his head and length measurements, as Beau gained 2 inches around his head and 3 inches in length in a matter of 6 weeks! Those two measurements put him between the 5th and 10th percentile, while he's still just a little off making the growth chart on his weight, but we're confident that'll change soon! When our little guy got his three shots today, he only cried for about 20 seconds! It was unbelieveable how well he handled it, even the nurse was surprised! After we got home, Beau was a little sore and slept for a little while, but I gave him Tylenol and cuddled with him a bunch, so by late afternoon he was feeling much better and was ready to play. Here are some pictures of our day, today was also the first time Beau took a bottle. We were nervous as to how he would be, but I had been pumping for a little while, so we decided to try tonight. Brandon fed him and he did great! Once again our boy has proven what a champ he is. It amazes me that two months have gone by already, and boy, are we so in love with him! I don't think we were ready to conprehend just how much we would love him and how captivated we would be by him, but God has shown us so much through his sweet baby blues and his bright, gummy smile! Happy 2 month, Beau!

We didn't like seeing our boy get poked!

His bandaged leg

He was a little sleepy when we got home

Poor baby, but what a trooper!

He took it like a champ!

Beau's first bottle

He did so well!

He kept looking at me the whole time though with slight confusion

Brandon loved it!

Burping the guy

Getting sleepy towards the end of his bottle

He does this same thing with his hand when he nurses!
All gone! (Sorry its lopsided, I couldn't figure out how to change that)
Have a great Monday!
