Aftermath of Halloween

After we got home from all of Halloween's festivities, we all got showered, changed, and started looking at all everyone had gotten. It sure was fun celebrating with a little one!

Trying Something New

Beau tried his first bits of cereal on Halloween as his "treat." He did really well and although we're going to start very slowly, I have a feeling that once we really get on the food track, he'll be a munching machine!

Halloween Pictures

The boy went and visited his Meme before heading over to his Gran and Pops. These two are some tight buddies, as we usually take Beau over there to spend some time with Meme a couple times a week. They both enjoy it quite a bit!

At Mike and Lisa's we took TONS of pictures. Some of the sweetest were of Beau and Haley. These are just some of the funny poses these two little ones made for the camera!

Visit with Pops

We went and saw Pops today at the bank. They had the place all decked out for Halloween and EVERYONE is just so captivated by Beau, that pictures were a must! I got some very cute ones of the boy with his Pops. He just loves him, its so precious.

Randomness

Um, so I have THE cutest little boy - need I say more? :)

Five Months!

Our sweet Beau Elias is five months old today! It's so hard to believe how fast he's growing up and even harder to realize that next month we'll be celebrating the half birthday!

Here are some fun things Beau's up to currently:

• "Talking" all the time!
• Laughing like crazy
• Wearing 3-6 mos clothing - we're current!
• Sitting up by himself for a couple minutes at a time
• Getting SO close to rolling from back to tummy
• Starting to "creep" while on his tummy
• Weighing in at 12 lbs 13 ozs; up 1 lb 11 ozs from last month, wow!
• Enjoys a couple periods of quiet time (1 in the morning, 1 in the afternoon) 
• Takes 2-3 naps a day
• Usually wakes up between 7:30 - 8:30 every morning
• Usually goes to bed between 8:30 - 9:30 every night
  

He's loving making "raspberries" and is very excited at the thought of getting to eat (soon enough, Beau!). We love our Beau so much and are so grateful for him every day. I know I'm never promised another day with him, but am so grateful for the time God is giving us. Enjoy the boy!

Blocks

Today I pulled out the wooden blocks I had received at one of Beau's showers. I figured we'd try and see how he liked them - and boy did he! He put them in his mouth one by one and it was too cute. I got such a sweet one and he's just getting more fun to play with by the day!

Fall Festival

Tonight was our church's fall festival. It was so neat to get to share in the fun of so many people - and so many there were! We took Beau as a skeleton and he and Brandon both let their hair go a little "crazy" - so sweet! Beau did so well, except for when it turned a little cooler, when Gran and Pops stepped in and took the boy home for his bath while Brandon and I finished helping at our station. It was such a great experince for us to share in with Beau and we even got a quick snapshot with sweet Haley girl as Minnie Mouse - that girl is so presh! Enjoy moments of the prep and fun!

Sittin' Up!

We've been practicing sitting up for a couple weeks now and the boy is just really mastering it! He really enjoys being able to see everything around him and is not quite the fan of being laid back while held...in fact, he'll push himself into a siiting position if you try! What a strong guy!
