Cora Fair is 18 months!

Cora Fair is 18 months old! Each day seems to be a day where she learns something new, says something new, or just has us finding something new to love about her. Here are some things I want to remember about the girl at this age:

* Cora, you are so funny! You enjoy making funny faces, doing silly dances, and making silly sounds. Pretty much anything you can do to get us laughing, you're up for it.
* You are our carb eater! You enjoy bread, pasta, rice, chips, basically any form of carb. Lately it has gotten to be such a chore to have to take in fruit or veggies, but your mom is persistent (and tricky), so we still manage to get them in. I'm truly hoping this gets easier, for a mom who likes her fruits and veggies, this has been tough.
* You adore reading. You are constantly bringing books to us to read you and you can sit for long periods of time so long as someone is reading to you. I happen to LOVE this quality of yours.
* Elmo and Abby are it for you right now. Whether a coloring book, a video, a stuffed animal, book, or anything else that might have them on it, you are all about it.
* You jabber all the time! Many times we're not totally sure what you're saying, but we're confident you know. You can say at least 30-40 words, know all your basic body parts plus some special ones like your knees and neck, say phrases like "Love you" (with sign language at the same time), "More, please" (also with signage), and "Thank you". You've also decided to call yourself "Coco" since you can't say Cora yet.
* You enjoy Bible class and especially Bible songs! Daddy and I have continued with you what we started with Beau by singing hymns to you all the time, most specifically hearing the two of us at night. That, along with the songs you hear in class or at school, are your favorites. You're also very intent on prayer at mealtime and say a resounding "Amen!" when we finish.
* You've done so great in school! You adore your teacher, Mrs. Becky, and she adores you. I know I'll never have any issue with dropping you off when she's there, you reach out as soon as you see her.
* You're a very girly girl and enjoy taking care of your babies. You request your "pretties" (perfume) to be put on each day, get very excited about what clothing and bow you'll wear, and often have at least one baby in your arms. I'm thankful you like babies since your new sibling will be here in 8-9 weeks!
* You've reached that 18 month stage of testing boundaries and fit throwing. With you being our second child, we knew this was coming and are much quicker to resolve it. It's been a bit hard on you, but I already know this is something we'll get through.
* You wear 12-18 month clothing, between size 3-4 shoes, weigh 20.1 lbs, are 30.5 in, with an 18 in head circumference.

We adore you sweet girl and embrace each moment with you!
